Year 5/6 Poetry

Ten young campers climbing up a vine,

One fell down and then there were nine.

Nine young campers playing with their mates,

One was excluded and then there were eight.

Eight young campers met a bee called Kevin,

One got scared and then there were seven.

Seven young campers playing with sticks,

One got a splinter and then there were six.

Six young campers poking at a hive,

A wasp stung one and then there were five.

Five young campers doing their chores,

One had enough and then there were four.

Four young campers having hot tea,

One burnt their tongue and then there were three.

Three young campers waiting in a queue,

One got bored and then there were two.

Two young campers going for a run,

One got tired and then there was one.

One young camper canoeing in the sun,

He fell in and then there were none!
