Post -School Preparation

This term the Year 12s are studying Literacy, Numeracy and Personal Development skills via the topic Post-school Preparation. 

This theme aims to provide students with an awareness of services around Melbourne, a better understanding of the layout of the CBD and greater knowledge of public transport options for navigating within and moving around the city. 

The program with also reinforce the skills and attributes students need to gain a greater degree of independence and confidence.

Throughout the term the Year 12 classes, SNK, SAP and SSS had a session with DOXA, identifying students’ individual skills and possible options for life after school.  The classes have also been to the East Melbourne Police Station, the Immigration Museum, the Melbourne Museum and the Queen Victoria Market.
