Classroom News - Year 2

Lots of learning has been happening in Year 2!

Year 2 have been busy learning all about Addition in Maths. We have started using some strategies including the jump strategy on a number line as well as doubles and near doubles to increase our speed and accuracy. 

In Religion, we have been learning about the Images of God. To show how God is like a potter, we made one of God's creations out of plasticine. 

To celebrate getting fresh tomatoes from Costa in Guyra, Year 2 did a creative writing task all about tomatoes. We talked and wrote about how they tasted, smelt and looked like. Year 2's writing was full of amazing adjectives!

Just a few reminders....

• Our Parent Information Night will be on Wednesday, 17th March at 6:30.
• Please bring in an old sock to be used to rub off student's swipe and wipes and whiteboards.
• Please return any notes as promptly as you can.
