Parent Teacher Interviews

Next week we have the Parent-Teacher Interviews, which are an opportunity for families and teachers to connect and discuss your children, building the partnership between school and home. The time enables both the teacher and the parents to work together toward your child’s learning and social wellbeing. But they are only ten minutes and that time can easily slip away. Below are some tips and questions that you might want to ask, to make the most of your spot next week.

Tips

  • Before the interview, look at your child’s report from the end of last year and consider any questions you might have about the information included.
  • Talk to your child and see if there is anything  they want discussed at the interview.
  • Make sure you are on time and have checked the settings on your computer before the interview time.
  • Focus on strengths just as much as areas for growth.
