SPORTS NEWS

Holt District Swimming Carnival

Tomorrow our 20 Swim Team members are set to compete in their respective 50m swim events at the Holt District Swimming Carnival at Oakleigh Pool.  Mrs Craven and Mrs Roche look forward to supporting the team over the day and we thank Mr Scott for representing our school as a Holt Swimming Carnival official.  We look forward to hearing about all swimmer’s personal swim experiences when they return!

Upcoming House Sports Carnival 

All classes are now busy practising during their PE & Class Sport lessons, in readiness for our upcoming House Tabloid Sports Carnival set to take place on Thursday 4th March.  

This year the event will run from 1pm - 3pm, during school hours.  Due to the complexities of Covid-19 restrictions, no parents will be required to help on the day.  As we find out more regarding restrictions, further updates to families, in regards to ‘spectators’ will be advised.

HOUSE SPIRIT: On this Sports Carnival Day, students from Foundation to Year 6 are encouraged to come along dressed in their designated House colours.  Please encourage your child to begin looking through their wardrobe to ensure they have a t-shirt &/or shorts &/or socks that represent their House colour.  Sneakers will also be worn for this event.

Further details will go home closer to the House Sports Carnival date.
