The Harvest continues with VCAL

The Senior Elective group throughout Term 1 2021 rejuvenated and maintained the garden beds ready for planting and harvesting in early Term 2.  Our focus in the ‘Faith in Action’ elective program is connecting and committing to projects outside the College, enabling our students to see how small acts of a few make a big difference to many.

Our volunteering continues with the Asylum Seeker resource Centre, Food bank Australia, Bass Coast Land Care, Parks Victoria (Braeside Park and Carrum Foreshore), Mentone Foreshore. This all culminates to tie into the VCAL Intermediate and Senior curriculum with all of our students enrolled in the Active Volunteering Certificate 2.
