McCristal's start to the year can be best summed up as “SPIRITED”. The efforts of our MACCA Boys at House Athletics and House Swimming where we came second and then first respectively is testament to the spirit, fun and participation that all our boys are showing. The sheer amount of MACCA Boys lining up for every event to be involved and have fun showed the true “Spirit” that lives in our HOUSE. 

The LEADERS have been awesome in driving the culture of McCristal with Captain Nicholas Torpey and his Vice-Captains Mitch Murphy and Matt Lehpamer continually encouraging the boys to get involved and participate with great energy.

Special Mentions to some great individual efforts in 1st Term also:

House Athletics: Finn Callaghan, Nicholas Torpey, Lachy Parker and Josh Stolp receiving medals for finishing in the Top 3 of the Year Level Championships.

House Swimming: Dante Incani, Blake Williams, Jasper Moodie, Tomas Cooling receiving medals for Top 3 Year Level Championships.

House Debating: Ben Martinelli, Tomas Cooling and Dylan Collins

House Public Speaking: Hunter Trumble, Aiden Carroll

ACC Athletics:    Finn Callaghan, Jet Peckett, Gavin Boyd winning the OPEN 4 x 400

We look forward to the next 3 Terms in seeing our students continue to set really high standards in and outside the classroom in their academic efforts, involvement in extra-curricular activities and in their building of respectful relationships with their peers, teachers, families and community.
