Health Centre

The Health Centre legally requires documentation if your child has an ongoing medical condition, such as anaphylaxis, asthma and allergies.  A Compass newsfeed for all students with conditions was sent on November 26th 2021 with the necessary documentation for your child.

If your child no longer has any of these conditions please email the College, with that directive, so we can adjust your child’s Compass profile.

Medication is to be supplied by parents and handed into the Health Centre (for example, an EpiPen, Ventolin, Claratyne).

If your child requires medication for any other reason, such as headaches and period pain, please call the Health Centre for a Medication Authority form.

This medication is held securely in the Health Centre and on file for your child only.

Any questions please call the Health Centre and ask to speak to Sian Doyle.

Please find attached the documentation that you many need to provide to the Health Centre.

Covid Boosters for

16-17 year olds

ref: www.health.gov.au

From the 3rd February, eligible Australians aged 16 and 17 years old can receive a COVID-19 booster vaccine, following recommendations from the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (ATAGI).

The booster dose for 16-17 year olds will be one dose of the adult Pfizer vaccine three months after their primary course.

Aussie kids who were 15 years old when they had their second COVID-19 vaccine, and are now 16 years old, will also be eligible for a booster dose. It is also highly recommended that immunocompromised 16-17 year olds should receive a booster dose as soon as they’re eligible.

Minister for Health and Aged Care, Greg Hunt, said this was good news for many year 11 and year 12 students, who are heading back to school this week and entering an important phase in their education, as well as a welcome relief for their parents and families.
