Lunches for 2022 are available to order via Qkr on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

The cut-off time is 8.30am.

 

Frozen treats are available each day.

Please note, if there are no lunches in your child’s class, they may need to collect from the canteen at lunchtime. If your child does not collect their icy pole, it will remain in the canteen until collected.

 

The canteen will be closed on Monday 14th February.

 

We strongly suggest you place your orders on the morning of, and not in advance whilst we navigate this first month of school.

 

Please ensure you have QKR & Compass notifications enabled to receive important information.

The canteen may need to close at short notice, alerts will be sent out the night prior or early on the day. Be sure to regularly check emails.

 

Some menu items may be unavailable due to supplier shortages. Prices may increase at short notice.

Save it to your phone or computer, print it out, and stick it to your fridge.

Canceled orders will receive a credit to your account if done so prior to the specified cut-off time.

RECIPE of the fortnight

 

Muesli Bars

 

150c           30-35mins

 

2 cups oats

1/2 cup self-raising flour

1/2 cup coconut

120gm butter

1/3 cup brown sugar

3 tablespoons golden syrup

1/2 cup sultanas

1/2 cup craisins

1/4 cup pepitas

1/4 cup sunflower seeds

1/2 cup chocolate chips

1 teaspoon cinnamon

 

Line a slice tray with baking paper.

In a saucepan or microwave-safe bowl, place in the butter and golden syrup. Heat until just bubbling. Remove set aside to cool slightly.

Place all dry ingredients into a large bowl and mix.

Add the butter mixture, mix until combined. 

Spoon into prepared slice tray, spread evenly. 

Bake at 150c for 30-35 mins or until golden.

Remove from oven and cool.

Cut into desired pieces, place into an airtight container, keep in a cool dark place.

 

Notes

Can be frozen.

Dairy free and gluten free alternatives can be used.

Dried fruits such as apple, apricots, pineapple, peaches, berries etc
