Year 7 and New Secondary Student/Parent Orientation Event

There will be a special Orientation Evening for all Year 7 families and secondary families new to The King’s College, with students and their parents/guardians invited to attend.

Date: Thursday27 January 2022

Time: 6.30pm - 7.30pm

Venue: The King’s Chapel Auditorium

Your child will have the opportunity to meet with their form teacher and/or Head of Year, and Year 7s will be introduced to the other students in their form class. Students will be given their Student Diary and class timetables and will also be issued their locker to better prepare for their first day of high school. In addition, time will be allocated to address any questions or worries they might have before officially commencing the year on Monday, 31 January 2022.

We intend to issue the 1:1 Student devices. We request that a parent/carer collect and sign for the device. 

During the evening, parents will be given information regarding school communication platforms, including SEQTA and Consent2Go, as well as school administrative processes.

We strongly encourage all parents to attend to ensure an effective partnership between the school and home.
