From the Principal's desk

At the Positive Schools Conference in Melbourne a couple of weeks ago, we attended a workshop focused around  building a positive, supportive and safe digital environment for our students. Below are two sites that I would really encourage parents to check out. One is the E Safety Commissioner's website which is full of advice on subjects such as cyperbullying, time on line, social media, privacy, gaming etc.

You may have noticed that we are now including a policy page in our newsletter. It is important that we keep our policies up to date and that parents are informed on these. Our Visitor's Policy is one that is currently being updated for approval by School Council. I would like to take this opportunity to remind parents that during school hours all visitors must report to the Front Office, this includes parents bringing in items for their children e.g. lunchboxes, homework etc. The office staff will then call the student up to the office. Thank you for your cooperation.
