Donation of School Uniform Items

The Wellbeing Team is always looking for second hand uniform items to be donated by families that we can pass onto students whose families are experiencing financial hardship. Thank you to those families who have generously donated old school uniform items, this has been a great help. If your family has any wearable school uniform items that no longer fit your child, or are sitting in a drawer from a recently graduated student, we would love to take them off your hands! You can drop them off at the general office, labelled for Michael Oaten.

Year 9 Respectful Relationships Workshop

On Friday 27 April, our Year 9 students participated in a Respectful Relationships practical workshop. The sessions were run by TESSA (Therapeutic Engagements Support Services Association) and worked on key skills of verbal and non verbal communication, praise, emotional literacy and team-work through a range of structured physical activities. The sessions aimed to build upon the learning that our Year 9s have been covering in the Unit 2 Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships curriculum in Health and Physical Education. The day was a great success and the students responded extremely positively to the experience.
