From the Business Manager

Our Property Services/Maintenance team have been busy these last two weeks with a number of projects.  School maintenance and construction projects are authorised activities, so the decision was made to bring forward the refurbishment of our Middle School classrooms.  Subject to the availability of supplies, we hope that when students return to school they will enjoy the refreshed and modernised rooms. New air conditioners are also being installed in these classrooms.  A concrete path has been completed outside the Primary School and a new garden project in front of the hall is also underway.   We also have in the plans for later 2021 for an upgrade of the Middle School toilets which includes the installation of individual change cubicles.  

Our IT staff have been busy responding to student, parents and staff requests as our whole school community has quickly adapted to QDL. Our administration and learning support staff have also been very adaptable and flexible to assist in the various areas of the school during these changed times. We are also currently investigating an online platform for ordering uniforms, to make the process more streamlined for parents. The uniform shop will continue to open at usual times (when restrictions ease).  Watch this space!
