Confidence

There are some very important things you can do at home to help your child achieve well at school this year and in the future. In school, we are teaching children all about the Foundation of Confidence. Confidence means not being afraid of making mistakes and being willing to try things that you might not at first be very good at doing.

This week at home encourage your child to build their confidence in something new. This may mean trying new ways of doing things, giving it their best shot or just having a go. Remind them that it’s okay to make mistakes sometimes and we learn from our mistakes.
