Dear Sacred Heart School Community

As indicated in yesterday's newsletter, the protocols for our students when online at google meets are detailed below. All our students need to abide by these protocols to ensure they are safe and that all participants are respected.

SACRED HEART - GOOGLE MEET PROTOCOLS

Students will observe these protocols when attending all google meets:

• The teacher who set up the google meet is the first to enter the google meet and is last to leave the meet.
• All participants must ensure that they are organised for the meet, this includes;
  • being punctual
  • being dressed appropriately
  • being away from distractions
  • having their equipment nearby
• Once a participant has entered the meeting, they cannot leave without the permission of the teacher.
• All cameras must be on at all times with each participant’s face showing.
• Make sure that microphones are off at the start of every meeting.
• The chat room is encouraged to be used by participants for
  • adding to the conversation
  • providing links appropriate to the meet
  • sharing opinions and comments related to the meet

ALL GOOGLE MEETS ARE RECORDED AND KEPT
