Sports Day at Hackham East Primary School

Sports Day
We would like to welcome the families of Hackham East to attend our community Sports Day event on Friday 17 September.
At this stage families are able to attend but please be mindful that if the situation in South Australia changes this will change.
Our Sports Days serve the purpose to connect students and their families to local sporting clubs within the community. This is a deliberate strategy to increase the number of students from our school playing club sports.
We thank you in advance for adhering to the following conditions for entry. These conditions are in accordance with the guidance on running events as stipulated by the Department for Education and SA Health until further notice:
Conditions of entry:
- All adults entering school grounds must wear a mask, check in via the QR codes as you enter the school and physically distance at all times.
- If you leave the school grounds and return you may be asked to show that you checked in previously.
- Parents/carers are not permitted to enter classrooms or units.
- We ask that all families please leave school grounds during the lunch break and then can re-enter (enter time 5 minutes before events start again)
- At the conclusion of Sports Day parents will be required to leave the school grounds and re-enter when the gates open again at 2:55pm.
- If you intend to take your child home early at 2:15 at the conclusion of Sports Day, please let your child’s teacher know before the lunchtime break so that teachers can complete a yellow form.
- Everyone to remain off no traffic areas as indicated by line marking and or bunting.
- We ask that parents not approach the first aid area under the verandah. If you require first aid please see a staff member.
- If you have any questions please contact the school and we will get back to you.
