In addition to our House Team Athletics Trophy we now have our brand new House Team Cross Country Trophy. We were excited to present this cup to our Brigid (Blue House Team) Captains at our last assembly.
The Grade 3/4 students made ANZAC day biscuits and discovered the history of the ANZAC biscuit. In making and enjoying the biscuits together they recognised and remembered the service and sacrifice of our veterans.
We celebrate achievements at OLA every day in the classroom. Outstanding achievement is celebrated at every assembly in the front of the school. Congratulations to all the OSHClub students who received an award last week.

Last week, our Grade 1/2 teachers participated in the next stage of our Early Number and Algebra (ENA) professional learning. This term, we are focussing on Addition and Subtraction. All Junior students have participated in this section of the Mathematics Online Interview to gain understandings of where are students are in their learning both individually, and as a cohort.
Next week, on Friday 12 May, the Junior team and I are looking forward to working offsite with the support of Mathematics 'experts' from Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools to analyse our results and plan teaching and learning opportunities for this term to fit the needs of our students.
