Yr8 Gunditjmara Country excursion

Leaving the buss exhange at 9am the students will visited the Budj Bim National Park, Kurtonitj (Tyrendarra) Indigenous Protected Area and Tae Rak (Lake Condah) to learn about the local landscape, history and Gunditjmara culture. 

Budj Bim Cultural Landscape Tours guide, Braydon Saunders showed students around the historical sites, view artefacts and learn from him the importance of 'songlines', aquaculture and creation stories. Students enjoyed the trek through the local history and landscapes that conplimented Braydon's stories as part of both the Geography and History curriculum.
