Brophy

Brophy Family and Youth Services commenced a headspace centre in Hamilton in December 2023, to provide dedicated youth mental health support for young people, their families and friends and help them be mentally healthy and engaged in their community.

The service is available for young people aged 12-25 years, their family and friends, providing youth friendly services, face to face information and support.

Brophy are currently looking for motivated young people to join a Youth Reference Group to advocate for issues that are relevant, and that matter to them!

Young people aged between 12 and 25 who are passionate about improving mental health in the Southern Grampians region are encouraged to be involved and have their voice included in how the service looks and feels.

They will play an important role in the design and development, highlighting topics important to young people and will work with headspace and the local community to increase mental health awareness, reduce stigma and promote access to headspace.

If you would like to find out more, please come along to Brophy Family & Youth Services, 98 Thompson Street, Hamilton on Wednesday July 5th at 12 noon for lunch and a chat about how you can be involved!
