Well done to the Year 12 Vocational Major Students for hosting the 'Do it for Dolly' day. The purpose of the day is to promote awareness of cyberbullying and to raise funds for its prevention. The group surpassed all expectations by raising over $800 for the Do It for Dolly Foundation.
Our Year 11's considering further education toured Ballarat, Melbourne and Geelong to help them make their decisions and raise awareness of the requirements to gain entry to their desired course.
Our Cross Country squad went down to Portland to compete in this event. Well done to Olivia Bell and Tara Baker that came third in their respective age groups.
Well done to Miss KK on picking up the reins and taking over from Miss Kemp after she went on maternity leave. The group had a great time as they went Rock Climbing at the ‘Mountain Lion’ in the southern section of the Victoria Range of the Grampians. Special thanks to our guide, Ramon for conducting this activity for our students.
A lot of students are cashing in their well-earned points for a variety of treasures at the SWPBS shop on a Monday lunchtime. Congratulations to all of students across all year levels for the way they demonstrate our values of Pride, Courage and Respect.
A heartfelt thank you to all businesses who support our Year 10's having a taste of the working world after school. Without you, this program would not be possible.
Thank you to all of the businesses and people who gave time to help our Year 9 students broaden their knowledge of what is on offer in Hamilton and beyond during Careers Week.
As is tradition, we mark the end of term with celebrations of the 100%ers for attendance and a bit of fun with some dodgeball.
