Principal News

Dear Sacred Heart School Community,

I would like to wish our school community a safe Easter holiday break. If you are travelling, I pray that you take care and have a wonderful time with your family and friends. I would like to thank you all, for the way you have worked with our school staff to make this first term a productive, enjoyable period of growth for all. As always, I reiterate that the informed trust and sense of cooperation that we experience from our parents and guardians, is not taken for granted. Thank you so much.

We will see you all on the first day of next term Monday 24th April.

Year Five/Six Camp

I have had the privilege of spending these past three days on camp at Phillip Island with our Year 5/6 students. As always the camp experience allows us the opportunity to see our students within a whole new context and allows them to shine in areas the classroom does not afford.

The camp experience for students is invaluable and gives them the opportunity to exert a real sense of responsibility, use their initiative and accept challenges that require determination,  resilience and a sense of other. Once again our students have shown these qualities and more.

Can I thank our staff, Marty, Jess and James who have taken such great care of our students. Like our students, they will return to Sacred Heart today ready for a well deserved rest.

Thoughts on favourite experiences

Jemimah: "Surfing because I got to get up on the board"

Hansvi: "Amazing Things - I loved looking at all the allusions"

Sheen: "Sleeping at night and waking up with your best friends"

Glendon: "Last night talking about making jokes with James"

Enock: " The mini golf because it was fun to sabotage our friends"
