Open Night

We had a magnificent turn out for our annual Open Night last week. Prospective families were able to meet with staff and tour our facilities, including our new Year 7 Hub. It was fantastic to see so many excited faces, trying to complete the tour questionnaire, and we can’t wait to have them back in the future. Thank you to all of the families that attended and if you were not able to make it on the night, please feel free to contact the school for information or a tour.

Interschool Cross Country

Well done to all of our students that participated in cross country this week. Our students ran some excellent times, with several qualifying to participate at regional level at St Arnaud. Thanks to Sandy Thomas and his support staff for organising and attending this event.

Camps

Our VCE Outdoor Education students have been on camp since Tuesday, experiencing a range of activities around Adelaide to complete one of their assessment tasks. Students had a wonderful time and gained valuable experience for the subject. Thanks to Jake Anders for co-ordinating the camp and Danni Jones for her support attending also.

Senior Art students have the opportunity next week to participate in a camp to Melbourne. There is a broad range of activities planned for them and we hope they have an incredible time. Thanks to the Art faculty for all their work in preparing this opportunity for our students.

Work Experience

Year 10 students will be participating in Work Experience during week 5 of this term. This is a great opportunity for our students to experience an area they are interested in working in, leading into the future. Staff are looking forward to checking in with students throughout the week and hearing about their experiences.
