Parents & Friends Association

As we draw close to the final term of the year, I find myself reflecting on a) how fast 2022 has sped by and b) how much I have enjoyed working with the P and F this year in my role as P and F representative for the Junior School.

The recent fundraising events (Trivia Night and JS Reading Challenge) have been hugely successful. There has been an amazing team working to achieve what we have so far, and of course the support from the school community and beyond has been inspiring.

We are looking forward to meeting more of the school community as we say "thank you" with tea/coffee and tasty treats provided by the P and F to complement the enjoyment of the Year 3/4 and Year 5/6 performances on Wednesday and Thursday evenings this week. Without parent and carer support we would not have had such a successful year so far - so THANK YOU all very much. And a big thank you to the volunteers who are contributing to this initiative also.

Our "friend-raising" is as important as our "fundraising".  With spring heralded by the beautiful blossoms now all over town, it is a perfect time for the year groups to plan to come together again. I encourage our Year Group Reps from both the Junior and Senior Schools to promote another gathering of their year group. I have heard a few whispers of an event or two, but I won't spoil the surprise just yet!
