It’s great to see high attendance in classes as the Year 11's work towards completing their first year here. While the end of term is near, there are also assessments right to the end of the term. It’s also encouraging to hear that many students have organised work over the summer break and may get an opportunity to put some of the skills they have learnt this year to good use.

I’m happy to report that two thirds of all students received less than three demerit points for the entire first three terms this year. We will continue with the Positive Culture rewards into next year and conclude this year with a trip to the Northam Aquatic Centre to use the slides and pool at the end of term.

We are currently focussing on encouraging the use of language that is inclusive and respectful. It is important that all students feel welcome and safe at the College and the language used in conversation is an important part of everyone feeling valued and respected. These are important workplace and social skills and we welcome all support from home in encouraging mature and thoughtful language.
