Grade F-1 Miss Bennett
What a great start to Term 4 for our F/1 Students. This term we have welcomed a new placement student Miss Deola to come and complete her 3rd year education placement with us. We have been very excited to share our classroom with her.
Last week the children got straight back into learning with a focus on Dr Seuss books. They completed a writing activity on ‘WACKY WEDNESDAY’ and ‘THE LORAX’. Students had to discuss and write a sentence about what they would do if they had the last Truffula tree seed. In Maths, the students have started their unit on ‘Money and Financial Maths’. This week they started by playing a game of shops and practicing handling money.

Grade 3-4 Miss Stock
The past couple of weeks, the students have been enjoying learning how to write procedural texts. Last week they had to work with a partner to follow a procedure to create a paper plane. They loved going outside and testing these.
This week the students learnt how to play Hopscotch. They then had to write a procedure to teach others how to play.
Grade 5-6 Miss Rasmussen
Last term, 11 of our Grade 5/6 students participated in the Kyabram Fauna Park’s Junior Park Ranger Program. The 10 week program enabled the students to get up close and personal with numerous animals in the park whilst learning about them. They also created habitats, fed animals and cleaned spaces to give them an insight into what it is like to work as a Ranger. Our students loved every minute of this engaging, hands on program and are very thankful for the opportunity.
Thank you to Rich River Golf Club for helping us make this possible.
