Junior Primary Sports Carnival

Pip Cooper, F-2 Curriculum Leader, South Plympton

Week 1 saw our Junior Primary classes (Foundation to Year 2) from both campuses have fun at the Junior Primary Sports Carnival. It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to learn and practice what it means to be a 'good sport'. Co-operating with others, working in a team, supporting one another, having a go, waiting for a turn and being a good winner, are all important, lifelong skills that set our children up for success.

It also a fantastic way to learn from one another, with our Senior and Junior School leaders alongside us, in a safe and supportive community environment. It was wonderful to have our parent community alongside to watch their children in action and cheer them on. Encouragement and excitement always fuels motivation to try our best.

We say a big thank you to our Junior Primary Sports teachers, Jodie Stewart and Daryl Porter for arranging such a fantastic day.
