Victorian State School Spectacular  

Last term I took an enthusiastic bunch of our Woodman’s Hill girls to the John Caine Arena to participate in the Victorian State School Spectacular with 3000 other performers. This event has been in the making for our students since February and the amount of hard work and effort they have put in to learn 7 different dances was truly inspiring for me as their facilitator and dance teacher. After not having a live show for 2 years it was great to be back in the arena with a live audience and 2 sell out shows. Im sure I was more nervous than any of the girls who suddenly turned into superstars every time they were ready to run on stage. 

Not only did our students turn up for an early bus everyday but they stuck by each other and they helped me in any way they could (entertainment value included). Best of all they were helpful to the primary school students we travelled with on and off the stage, which as you can read below was acknowledged in a community social media page. This Spectacular will be aired on channel 7 on December 17th and is worth the watch.
