Year 11 Reflection Day

Year 11 students participated in a Reflection Day by going off campus to visit three religious sites. This complements their Religion and Life course that looks at how religious beliefs influence and shape the way Australians search for meaning and purpose in their lives. Students visited a Buddhist temple, the Perth Mosque and St Mary’s Cathedral and were able to listen to, ask questions and interact with the guides there.

Health and Physical Education

Health and Physical Education is an opportunity for students to learn about the importance of being active and healthy and will help our students live longer, healthier lives. It offers students the opportunity to not only be physically active, but to build confidence, to learn different movement skills, and develop their team work, leadership skills and interpersonal skills. Health Education offers students the opportunity to understand the changing world around them, protective behaviours, conflict resolution and building positive relationships.
