Inter-School Sports District Basketball Finals

Both the boys and girls Grade 5/6 basketball teams competed in the District finals last week as they were both undefeated at the Gala Day earlier this term.

The boys played a very close, intense match against Holy Spirit. The boys did themselves proud, playing with great teamwork, respect, and integrity. The boys never gave up and were able to hold their heads high, despite going down 27 v 35. Congrats boys on a fantastic effort!

The girls' team played a great game against Eastwood Primary. They fought hard all game and improved in many areas as the game went on. Eastwood was the stronger team on the day and they won 28 - 10. Congratulations girls on putting in a huge effort and making it this far!

We would like to say a huge thank you to Norwood Football Club for their generous donation of footy jumpers! These jumpers give our football teams at both inter-school sports and the Girls Footy Gala Day the chance to look the part and have a proper footy uniform!
