Welcome to our new staff

Nancy El-Sayed

Nancy has been teaching Humanities for 12 years at Copperfield College in Melbourne's west.  Her first impressions of St Helena are of a huge school with a very supportive environment.   She became a teacher to follow in the footsteps of the rest of her family, and to try and give back to the community and make a difference.  Nancy's passion is food, and you will see her trying new restaurants as often as she can!

Julie Whittington

Julie has taught English and Humanities for 18 years.   St Helena is a much larger school that she is used to, but she believes the school has important values and a great motto.   She finds the teachers very supportive and the students friendly.   Julie loves to learn, and wants to encourage students to develop a love of learning too.  Before becoming  a teacher, Julie was a tour guide.  She was able to show people how amazing Australia is - from its outback to its vast coastlines. When she isn't teaching, she loves to walk/hike, travel, read and appreciate music.
