O Day

O Day

Despite the rain and gloomy weather, O Day 2023, held in the Louise Cleary Year 9/10 Learning Centre, was a massive success. O Day is an annual event for new and existing students to explore all the clubs and extracurricular activities the College has on offer. This year, we had the addition of the Crochet Club, Games Club, Board Games Club, Drama Club, Volleyball Club, and social justice groups- St Vincent de Paul and Awaken the Spirit- FIRE Carrier. Our beloved Chess Club, Bike Club, JDF Club, Performing Arts, Choir, Concert Band, Ukulele Club, Book Club, and LOTE Club all made a return to bring on new members.

We saw many students competing in chess matches, competing in Mario Kart on TV, writing suggestions for the Year 12 SRCs, and enjoying lollies from LOTE Club.

Thank you to all the Marian College Club Leaders, Year 12 House Captains and SRCs, Ms Jennifer Stafford and teaching staff for taking time out of your busy days to make this wonderful event possible.
