Principal's News

Mr Rodrigues

Dear Families,

Our Fete is now just two days away and we are all so excited and looking forward to what we are sure will be a great day for our community. There have been many people, and in particular our core group of organizers on the Fete committee, who have been meeting each week to prepare and plan for the big day. Our Fete committee of parents have been working tirelessly to get everything we need ready and have been in charge of rosters and prizes, market stalls and advertising and a huge range of other things to ensure this event is a success. I hope all our families are able to attend and have been spreading the word to family and friends as well as neighbours so that we have a great crowd on the day.

Next week will be our last week of what has been an incredible term. There are of course a few more things to do before we lock the doors and gates for the holidays. We have our Learning Expo next Wednesday from 9am and all families are invited to come and visit classrooms to see some of the great learning that has taken place. Also on Wednesday we will be having our Holy Week Liturgy from 2:15pm and would love you to join us for this.

As Friday is Good Friday, this term we will be finishing on Thursday but will finish at the normal time of 3:15pm so that we can have our Whole School Assembly and Easter Raffle from 2:30pm in the MPR.

Enrolments

Over the past few weeks I have been meeting with many families who are now looking for a school for their children who will be starting Prep next year. It is, however, really important that all our curent families, especially those with children at Kinder are spreading the good word about our wonderful school.  As we know many of our Catholic Schools locally have had falling numbers in recent years and so it is essential that we are able to promote our school in the best possible ways.  Could I also ask all those families who have another child starting at Trinity next year to please let Julie know and to collect an enrolment form for the office as we need to process these enrolments as soon as possible.

Prayer:  A Prayer for Peace

Lord Jesus Christ,
You are the true King of peace. In You alone is found freedom.
Please free our world from conflict. Bring unity to troubled nations. Let Your glorious peace reign in every heart.
Dispel all darkness and evil. Protect the dignity of every human life. Replace hatred with Your love.
Give wisdom to world leaders. Free them from selfish ambition. Eliminate all violence and war.
Jesus, Son of the Living God, have mercy on us.
Jesus, hear our prayers.
Jesus, I trust in You!

School Fete Vision!

To create a fun and exciting event that draws in our surrounding community with the aim of building the profile of the school, increase enrolments and showcase the great work we do at Trinity.
