Cross Aged Tutoring

Last Friday the Cross Aged Tutoring Year 9 Elective class joined forces with a Year 7 class. The purpose of the session was for the students to make meaningful connections and create supportive relationships to enhance their connectedness to school. 

The classes participated in 'getting to know you' activities as they roamed the room and chatted to their peers. Students settled down in groups and answered an autobiography questionnaire about their lives, which they collaboratively discussed.

Students then created maps of their autobiographies on poster paper. The session was very successful, and students met new students and created lasting positive relationships.
