VCE Food Technology

Design Brief: Students were required to research Australian chefs and select a chef, a recipe and demonstrate a range of skills; ability to interpret a recipe, time management abilities and food preparation skills. 

 

Chefs selected included Donna Hay, Maggie Beer, Adam Liaw and Bill Granger. Dishes selected ranged from Peanut Butter Brownies, Sushi Sandwiches, Steamed Maple Syrup Pudding, Spinach and Ricotta Quiche, a Warm Tomato and Ricotta Salad to Apricot Pavlova, and more.

Talbot Room

In our cooking session today, Alex, Lucas and Steven from the Talbot Room cooked pinwheels with enthusiasm and worked well as a team.  They then brought them back to the Talbot Room to share with the other students who all agreed they were delicious.
