Dear Parents/Carers

I hope you were able to spend some quality time with your children over the holidays.

Below I have  included some important dates  for Year 6 students who will be receiving the sacrament of Confirmation this year.

Commitment Mass 

Confirmation candidates are expected to attend one of the parish masses on the weekend of the 23rd and 24th of July as they make a commitment to prepare for Confirmation. Mass times are Saturday 6pm, Sunday 9am and 11am. You may choose a mass time that suits your family best.

Faith Night for Confirmation 

On Tuesday the 2nd August parents and confirmation candidates are expected to attend  a faith night at St Bede's in the Jarrow room at 7pm til 8:30 pm.

Altar Servers

I am wondering if there are any children (Year 4 and above) who would like to train to become an altar server. This would require being on a roster and committing to serve at one of the parish masses on a regular basis. If this is something that you think your child might like to do. Please contact me (Bernadette)
