Year 2 Art Gallery: Jean-Michel Basquiat Portraits

WilAfter exploring the energetic, abstract and often chaotic artworks by American artist Jean-Michel Basquiat, Grade 2 students created an abstract background. They just went for it! They had fun using mixed materials - paint, pens, pencils, markers and pastels. They then sketched a portrait into printing foam and used brayer rollers and ink to print the portraits.
