Science

It was so wonderful to celebrate Science Week with the community, thank you so much to everyone that attended! The theme was glass and students enjoyed exploring this through a range of activities. This included, making their own stained-glass windows, marble runs, glow jars, glass slime and patterns with glass. I look forward to another Science Week celebration next year!

Art

This Term students were lucky enough to complete a workshop with artist, Taree Mackenzie. During the workshop the students learnt all about the science behind shadows and the history of shadow puppets. Students were the guided to make their own shadow boxes and puppets, they were lucky enough to take these home, so make sure you get them to put on a performance for you! At the end of the workshop students explored colour mixing with light and created rainbow shadows with their puppets.
