This week, the choir was very excited to perform live for ABC Central Breakfast Radio.

Our Choir Captain Bella spoke with host Fiona, introducing the song we sang - Banaha - a Congolese folk song. Banaha' means banana and it's a funny song about a boy ladling a banana into a lady's red hat! The song is performed in a three part harmony and the kids sounded terrific. I was so proud of how all choir students listened to and followed instructions despite how nervous and excited they were. It was a great opportunity to perform outside of school and a day we won't forget in a hurry.
