2022 Mathematics Enrichment Results
In 2022, some of our Secondary students participated in two competitions as part of our mathematics enrichment program.
The first, the Computational and Algorithmic Thinking (CAT) competition, was held on Thursday 5 May. It was a one-hour problem-solving task, where some questions tested students’ ability to accurately perform procedures, whilst others required logical thought and the identification and application of algorithms.
The Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC) was held on Thursday 4 August. The AMC was an engaging 30-problem-solving competition that demonstrated the importance and relevance of mathematics in students’ everyday lives. The AMC is designed by Australia’s leading educators and academics, with a deep understanding of our national curriculum standards.
Our students excelled in both these events, and we are proud to publish their fine achievements. Congratulations go to all our 2022 participants.
Please note: Due to some printing technicalities, the official certificates for both competitions have not yet arrived from the Australian Maths Trust in Canberra. They will be distributed to our participants as soon as they do arrive.
