Upcoming learning:

Reading	To find the main idea in fiction stories while exploring the use of past and present tense.
Writing	To write a recount about a favourite holiday event and use creativity and paragraphs as a narrative writer.
Maths	To carry out chance experiments and then with these results, record, represent and interpret data.
Science	To share their current understanding of the concept that will be explored in physical science, HEAT.
Inquiry	To collaborate in small teams during ‘hands-on’ design and technology challenges.
Social & emotional learning	To explore how to deal with challenges and problems and how to effectively take on different roles in small teams.

News and Reminders

Year 3’s will have 5 swimming lessons at Kingswim Narre Warren in Term 4, Week 1 and 2.

Our swimming days are Tuesday, Thursday and Friday in Week 1 and Tuesday and Thursday in Week 2.

We encourage all students to join. Students will be allocated to small groups based on their swimming ability and experience.

There is no payment for this event. Thank you to those families who have already signed up on Compass.

Please ensure your child brings a plastic bag with their towel, swimming clothes, clean underwear, socks and if possible, goggles. Students will be able to change into their swimming clothes prior to the lesson at Kingswim.
