Visit by Cheryl Van Dijk

On the 30th June, Cheryl Van Dijk came to share with Fisher 14 & 15 students, her 'work-in-progress' book, Nettie and the Humus Collective. 

The first part is based around the kidnapping of a character named Lyra. One night, she was abducted by some ‘Humus’ and was taken to give them an advantage in the war that was being waged between them and another group known as ‘Serates’.

Cheryl explained that it would be another eight months to a year until the book will be finalised. This book will be a 'must-read'.
