Fete News...Update

2023

The 6 Week countdown to Fete Day is now on!!

And here we are again to keep those reminders at front of mind . . .

Lead Volunteers :

We've assigned leads to every stall now! 🤩

Thankyou to every single one of our Fete Leads who have stepped up to this challenge!

We'll share a list of stalls to get excited about in our next newsletter.

  • Anyone know a local amateur DJ who'd like to donate their time to practice spinning
their decks on & off during fete day? 😎

Donations Needed :

Feeling Crafty?

Any knitters, soap or candle makers, sewing machine gurus or woodworkers?  I’m talking to you too grandparents! Our amazing craft stall would love your donations of small and new handcrafted items that we could sell at the fete.

Donations of anything handmade – candles, anything knitted or bags/clothing would be appreciated.

Please get in touch with Julie (mum of Zoe in Grade 5/6) on 0439 391 345 or even join her group sewing day.

Green Thumbs wanted !

We have a plant stall - just in time for the autumn planting season!  But can you help with plants?!  No-longer-wanted plants (and decorative pots) in good shape can be donated in the days leading up to the fete, but if you have a green thumb and like to propagate plants, can we encourage you to think about this right now so they’re ready in time?

Can you grow vegies from seed?  Can you divide any of your pot plants?  Do you have baby plants you can lift from your garden and pot up?  Do you have fave succulents you could take cuttings from?  Get started!

And please get in touch if you’re crafty and like making things like kokedamas or terrariums, or work in a plant-related field where leftover plants may become available.  And if you’ve got special but slightly worse-for-wear unwanted pot plants that you think can be rejuvenated but you don’t know how, also get in touch.

Message Andrew at npsplants@outlook.com or on 0401 039 791.
