Welcome back to school. I hope that you all had a wonderful Summer break. We have already been hearing lots of stories about visiting relatives, relaxing at the beach and sleeping in until lunchtime!

We have been busy preparing OSHC. For term 1 we will be sharing our space with Jenny, the performing arts teacher while renovations continue around the school (this should be the last for a while)! Our senior Educator Naarah will be the canteen manager for term 1. Lastly, most of our team has returned for 2023 and are looking forward to seeing you all again.

Just a note about sharing the OSHC spaces in the building and the yard. Parents and carers are welcome to visit our program and enjoy the beautiful grounds of our school. As we are an operating child care service, we ask that you supervise your children at all time (unless booked into the program) and be respectful of our hard working educators. We appreciate your support and we are here if you need us.

IMPORTANT:

  1. Bookings do not roll over from last year. You must submit your new permanent bookings for 2023 via email

 

  1. Permanent Booking for 2023 are now open.

Please be aware that all permanent bookings for 2022 do not carry over for 2023.

You don’t be to re-enroll your child as your account is already linked to your child enrolment.

If you need permanent booking for your child in 2023, please send an email to oshc.brunswick.nw.ps@education.vic.gov.au with the days and sessions that you need.

If you don’t know your dates yet, you can send an email with your request later in January 2023

 

  1. New Booking and Cancellation Policy

A reminder that OSHC has updated the Booking and Cancellation Policy and it will be effective as the 1st of January 2023.

All casual bookings and all session cancellation (for both permanent and casual bookings) will require a 24 hours notice prior the relevant session starting time.

This change will provide OSHC team to cater for a better service, including food preparation and staff ratio.

The new Booking and Cancellation Policy was sent out to all families via Xplor app and it will updated on the website for 2023.

  1. Enrolments changes: if you need to make any changes in your enrolment, such as diet requirement, medical conditions, new address or phone number and contact list, please email your changes to oshc.brunswick.nw.ps@education.vic.gov.au

 

  1. Child Care Subsidy(CCS): please make sure that you are entitled for CCS through your app. If your CCS has dropped, please make sure that you:

 

  1. Sign off your CWA through your Xplor Home app, under Accounts/Finance
  2. Confirm your enrolment with BNWPS OSHC through your Centrelink App/Account
