On 16th November the Victorian Science Talent Search Awards ceremony occurred. Our Minor Bursary award winners Jamie Katic Year 9, Alexander Tari Year 9 and Austin Voges Year 7 were in attendance, along with parents, Mrs Kindler, Mr Hamer-Smith and me. As our students were Minor Bursary award winners they all received cheques from Rowe Scientific who were one of the sponsors of this year’s event. 

It has been great to see all students being engaged in transition events and actively participating in activities. The Year 8 students are focusing on 'being scientific', Year 9 students are exploring 'ethics' and the students in Years 10 to 12 are developing their key understanding of important science concepts in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Psychology.

Lastly, the Science faculty would like to extend to all Year 12 students who have just finished their studies congratulations and good luck with their future careers.
