Math Week

On Tuesday the 25th of July, the year 12 VCAL students from M6 hosted various math games in the hall for the grade 5’s of Emmaus Primary School. The grade 5’s had the chance to go around in a rotation and complete various games/ activities. The activity I ran alongside Chloe, was timetable bingo. All of the grade 5’s were challenged to see how well they knew their timetables and it was fair to say they gave all us year 12’s a run for our money. All of the activities included;

- Timetable bingo

- Ball in cone

- Timetable competition

- Timetables soccer shoot out.

The students all worked very hard and gave us their full and undivided attention, they all participated and had a great time. We received positive feedback from both teachers and students of Emmaus, the Emmaus teachers did mention that we were very well prepared and did a great job.
