Installation of the Fourth Bishop of Broken Bay

On Monday evening a small group of staff and students attended the official installation of Bishop Anthony Randazza DD JCL at the Light of Christ Centre Waitara. The Papal Bull that contained the official announcement of the appointment was read by His Excellency Most Reverend Adolfo Tito Yllana, the Apostolic Nuncio to Australia. Two previous Bishops of Broken Bay, along with Bishops from around Australia and the clergy of Broken Bay added to the solemnity of the celebration. Bishop Randazza spoke of his willingness to lead the diocese and asked for our prayers for him in his new appointment. An invitation has been extended to our new Bishop to visit St. Pius X and we eagerly await his response.

Founder's Day: Friday 22 November at Oxford Falls - Helpers needed please!

It's that time of year again where I need around 15 to 18 helpers to cut the sausages, cook the sausages, bag the bread and generally help make lunch happen for the boys and the staff on Founder's Day.  I would love to see the 2017 or 2018 helpers return and some new volunteers too!  Please let me know if you can assist, even just for an hour or so, between 8:30am and 12:30pm - robson.nadine@gmail.com
