Captains Corner

The Captain’s Corner of our school newsletter provides our School Captains, Mihika, Jash, Hridhika and Manula with an opportunity to communicate to our school community. 

Below is a brief statement from our School Captains Jash and Mihika­­­­.

Innovation Programs 

This year in order to expand our Innovation Programs and to challenge the students, we have introduced sport innovation as many of the students here are interested in sport or play a sport outside the school. This semester's Sports Innovation program focuses on Cricket and we look forward to other sports being introduced later in the year. At our school we also have innovations programs in STEAM, Maths, Writing, Art and Music so we can develop the students capability in these subjects.

Congratulations to all of the students who have been selected for the innovation programs and thank you to all the teachers who have made this successful.

Year 5 Camp!

Another event that is coming up is Grade Five camp which starts next Tuesday the 2nd of March.

The purpose of this camp is to educate the students about Australian history and its impact on Australian society. During the camp the students will develop skills of independence, getting along and confidence. At the same time thru will further develop their knowledge of Australian history. Next year when the students are in Year 6, the camp ties into the year 6 inquiry question "How have groups and individuals contributed to Australian Society?"
