Prime Minister's National Spelling Bee Competition
We have registered for the national competition. If your Year 3-6 student is interested please email me: dperry@fatimarosebud.catholic.edu.au and I will send you the parent consent forms and additional information for the online competition. I hope to have plenty of students taking part!
District Swimming
Last week I was fortunate enough to attend the District swimming sports and witness our students display fantastic effort and perseverance.
For many of our students it was their first time experiencing inter-school competition. This brings nerves, fear and plenty of adrenalin! Stepping up to the next level of competition can be both rewarding and challenging but it was great to see the 'have a go' attitude that our competitors showed.
Well done to Mr. Koole, Ms. Baker and Mrs. Dunwoodie for helping support our students at the event. The children and I had lots of fun travelling back and forth on the bus!
A special congratulations to Madeleine who will go on to compete at the next level and represent our District (and school!) in the divisional championships. Good luck.
Well done to all of our representatives who did a fantastic job competing on the day at Crib Point Pool. We can't wait to make use of the new Yawa Aquatic Pool at Rosebud in the coming months and years.
