School Swimming Sports 2021

A huge ‘WELL DONE” to all of the students who attended and participated in the Our Lady of Fatima Swimming Sports on Monday the 22nd of February. 

All of the students participated very well, encouraging each other and they all tried their absolute best in the races that they chose to participate in! 

The winning house team will be announced at the school assembly this Friday. 

A huge thank you to the staff who assisted on the day, and the parent helpers, Cynthia Anderson and Brian Lenette, who assisted in the timing of events.

Phillip District Swimming Carnival

The Phillip District Swimming Carnival was held at the Crib Point Outdoor Pool on Friday the 26th of February. 

The Our Lady of Fatima District Swimming Squad members;

Jude F, Kurtis S, Archie B, Luke C, Madeleine A, Ruby C, Ellie P, Amina D, Harlen L, Cooper L, Kingston G, Xavier K, Elizabeth Mc, Lucy G, Aleese F, Aliah B, Samuel D, Kyle D, Olyvia S, Trudy R, Charlie B, Tayla P. 

The students participated very well in their swimming events and we are very proud of their efforts. It is an achievement in itself to get to this level and every student tried their very best and represented Our Lady of Fatima very well. 

Special mention to Madeleine A who finished 2nd  in the 10 year old 50m Breaststroke and 3rd in the 10 year old 50m Butterfly. Madeleine will now compete at the Southern Peninsula Division Swimming Carnival on the 17th of March in the 50m Breaststroke. Good luck Madeleine!

 

Summer Lightning Premierships

Summer Lightning Premierships will be held on Friday the 26th of March at various venues on the Mornington Peninsula. More information and permission forms will come home soon. The students are working with their teams and coaches in Senior Sport on Fridays.
