Harmony Day

Harmony Day will be celebrated over a whole week from Monday with a range of activities, dance displays and great food!

Activities

We are looking forward to celebrating with all our students beginning on Monday 15 March. Next week all students will participate in Harmony Day activities each day during Learning Mentor classes.

On alternate days students at each campus will have an opportunity to purchase lunch provided by local restaurants. This will occur:

Thursday 18th March at Wanganui Campus

Friday 19th March at Mooroopna Campus

Monday 22nd March at McGuire Campus

Azem (Luftiyes Shish Kebab) have generously agreed to create chicken or beef dishes with rice for only $5 that will be sold through our canteen.

Pizzas provided by My Mates will also be sold for $2 a slice.

We hope that our students and families take advantage of supporting these local businesses. Drinks will be available at the canteen as per usual.

Students on each campus are busy practising their traditional dances and are looking forward to sharing these on the day with their peers. At McGuire and Mooroopna campuses, there will be Samoan, Aboriginal and African dance displays; Wanganui will host Polynesian, Punjabi and more.
